Microdermabrasion (MDA) was first introduced in Europe more than 10 years ago. It has become one of the most popular exfoliating facials for men and women in treating all skin types and skin colors. MDA represents a LESS EXPENSIVE and LESS INVASIVE modality than laser treatments and chemical peels with an immediate return to normal lifestyle. A single MDA treatment is approximately as effective as three 30% Alpha-hydroxy acid treatments, or a single 70% Alpha-hydroxy acid treatment without the "down time" and inconsistencies associated with chemical and laser treatments.
